Ashley Overa Save The Music

Two William Paterson University music biz students are producing two shows, starting tonight, that will help raise money & awareness for good causes while also giving them valuable experience.

Ashley Overa, WP class of ’16, puts on Songwriters For A Cause tonight.  This singer/songwriter show takes place in Greenberry’s, a cool coffee house at 239 Berdan Avenue in the Point View Shopping Center.  First note is strummed at 7pm.

Ashley Overa Save The MusicLauren Shepard, WP class of ’15, changes keys just a bit with her 3rd Annual Voices For Hunger show, taking place Friday, April 10th in the Butler United Methodist Church on 5 Bartholdi Avenue.

Both events feature William Paterson University musicians and are produced in association with Honors or Capstone projects.  By the time each event is over, both Ashley and Lauren will have more experience than 99.9% of the music industry when it comes to producing a show.
