The debut of the country’s only radio show about the business side of the music industry, Music Biz 101 & More, will be Wednesday, March 5th at 8pm. Music Biz 101 & More Radio Show To Air Wednesdays On Brave New Radio/WPSC
The Music Biz 101 & More radio show will be hosted by Dr. Stephen Marcone, head of WPU’s Music Management Department, and Professor Dave Philp, who teaches in both WPU’s Music Management and Pop Music Studies departments.
Dr. Marcone is a former Columbia Records recording artist and has taught at William Paterson since 1984.
Professor Philp is a WPU grad (class of ’90) and has worked in the record biz (PolyGram, Universal), home video (PolyGram & New Video), and radio (Greater Media Broadcasting).
Combined, the two have over 12,493 years of music & entertainment industry experience.
The duo’s first guest will be Dr. E. Michael Harrington, intellectual property expert witness and faculty member of the Berklee School of Music. Dr. Harrington is also a rabid Boston Red Sox fan.
