Music Biz 101 & More Live

What are you doing Monday night?  Nope.  It ain’t football.  It ain’t baseball (NY Mets in 2017 baby!).  You ain’t a-gonna study and you ain’t a-gonna vote.  That’s Tuesday.  No, on Monday, you’re going to this…

Music Biz 101 & More Live

Music Biz 101 & More Live 2016

Music Biz 101 & More Live is produced by William Paterson University’s student-run Music & Entertainment Organizaion (MEO), led by its president, Joelle Filippi.  The panel portion of the event will be recorded and produced by Nathaniel “Nate the Hawk” Hawkins and made available as a podcast on SoundCloud and iTunes.  It will air on Brave New Radio, WP 88.7, as a radio show on November 23.

At 8:30, networking will start.  Attendees will sit at tables and the 5 humans above and 4 humans below will sit at various tables and chat.

  • Aaron Rosa – Drums, Palisades
  • Matt Marshall – Guitar, Palisades
  • Kari Keller – Touring & Events Assistant, Columbia Records
  • Joey Stefan – Coordinator, Business Operations, Content Distribution, Viacom

Every 10-15 minutes, attendees will rotate to another table.

This is the second time we’ve done Music Biz 101 & More Live.  What did last year’s event look like?  It looked just like this:
