Your William Paterson University MEO (Music & Entertainment Organization) is hosting Music Biz 101 & More Live on Monday, February 25th, at 7pm. Dr. Esteban Marcone and Professor David Kirk Philp will lead this live panel discussion, which features some very fancy people:
- Sean Striegel – SVP NY/NJ at Live Nation
- Mark Robinson – Head of Business Affairs at 300 Entertainment
- Alix Kram – VP Warner Music Artist Services
- Geneva Gamblin – Elektra Records International Marketing Assistant (and WPU alum)
In addition, we’ll have Joe Pomarico from Atlantic Records, Kellyn Barnes from Vector Management, and Joelle Filippi from Columbia Records. We’ll do a 60-minute live radio show interview (recorded for the podcast and to be aired soon afterwards on Brave New Radio) and then open up the room to two hours of networking with our special guests.
This is free and open to the public. If you’re interested in the music business, come on out. It’ll be well worth your time. So go!
Here’s the 2016 version of Music Biz 101 & More Live. Listen. You’re gonna love it.
