We make introductions in the beginning, including show producer, Phillip Gorokhovsky, and co-host William Paterson University’s Professor of Music who teaches music composition and theory, Dr. David Weisberg.  At 4:54, we begin the official introduction of Angelo Badalamenti.

At 5:45, we hear the music for “Laura Palmer’s Theme” from the television show Twin Peaks.  The music was composed by our guest, Angelo Badalamenti.  Angelo then describes at 7:30 how he met David Lynch, the director for the show, and how they worked together putting together this particular piece.  It’s a really animated description.  Really listen to this.  Here’s a sampling of it:

At 15 minutes in, Angelo gives some great advice you need to know. This leads to a story about how Angelo developed his relationship with the director, David Lynch.  He speaks specifically about the song “Blue Velvet.”  You can hear it below.
